Onsite technical support role for Accenture Flex in Walnut Creek, CA, focusing on AR prototype hardware testing, preparation, user support, documentation, scripting, and hardware issue management.
Responsibilities
- Assist in evaluating new AR devices for functionality and quality, and draft initial user guidance.
- Identify and document hardware or software issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues and boost device performance.
- Prepare AR devices for programs such as user research, data collection, demos, and events.
- Install software, adjust configurations, and ensure devices are ready for use.
- Provide on-site support during events and help users with setup and operation of devices.
- Deliver timely technical support to users of AR prototype hardware.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, diagnose problems, and guide users to solutions.
- Respond to user inquiries via email or in person.
- Escalate complex issues to senior technical staff as needed.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive user support documentation for all AR prototypes.
- Create knowledge base articles, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides.
- Ensure documentation remains accurate, current, and easily accessible to users.
- Develop scripts for device setup, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
- Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Contribute to tools and resources that assist the technical support team.
- Triage hardware bugs, perform fault analysis, and identify root causes.
- Manage the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process for defective devices.
- Coordinate with logistics and engineering to ensure timely resolution of hardware issues.
- The position is entirely onsite in Walnut Creek, California.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of professional work experience.
- At least 1 year of Python experience.
- High School Diploma or GED.
