Contract Active Directory End User Support Help Desk Support

Robert Half is seeking a Help Desk Analyst I to support onsite users in Connersville, Indiana, on a long-term contract.

Address end-user inquiries and provide timely assistance for typical desktop, software, and access-related issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve routine problems on Windows platforms, including Windows 10, elevating more complex incidents as needed.
Manage service desk tickets by recording issues accurately, tracking progress, and ensuring proper closure.
Support Active Directory tasks such as user access updates, password-related assistance, and basic account maintenance.
Communicate clear, step-by-step troubleshooting guidance to employees on system usage and standard procedures.
Maintain organized records of reported issues, solutions, and follow-up actions to support consistent service delivery.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a help desk, desktop support, or technical support role.
Working knowledge of Active Directory for basic user account and access support tasks.
Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Windows, including Windows 10 environments.
Ability to perform basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, login, and connectivity issues.
Familiarity with service desk ticketing practices and accurate issue documentation.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to end users.

At least 1 year of experience assisting with Windows-based environments, user account support, and routine technical issues.
Working knowledge of Active Directory for basic user account and access support tasks.
