Support student services at Kirkwood Community College by handling helpdesk calls, lab-area assistance, and EagleCard/ID card support for students, faculty, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Answer Student Helpdesk phones.
- Assist students, faculty, and staff with questions and equipment support in the lab area.
- Capture photos and create EagleCards and Medical badges.
- Support photo ID card creation for Kirkwood faculty, staff, and students.
- Manage EagleCard funds activities, including adding funds and related processes.
- Perform cash register transactions, including making change.
Requirements
- Excellent customer and phone skills; speak fluent English.
- Strong problem-solving approach with a financial background.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Kirkwood Community College online student applications.
- Regular and consistent attendance at work.
- Ability to handle people and phone interactions for direct walk-in traffic across college areas.
- Troubleshooting skills for student support needs in the lab area.
- Ability to complete basic cash register functions and related duties.
