The Executive IT Support Consultant role delivers white-glove technology support for executive leadership and related stakeholders, with a focus on secure, reliable, and seamless day-to-day technology experiences. You will operate independently within assigned systems or services, improving incident response, operational practices, and governance patterns while partnering with internal teams and external vendors. This onsite position is based in Charlotte, NC.
What You’ll Do
- Provide technology operations for assigned systems or services, working independently under general supervision to meet targets for performance, availability, reliability, and security.
- Own and execute defined processes within your scope, helping develop and maintain technology standards, runbooks, and governance patterns to reduce risk, support compliance, and improve operational consistency.
- Lead components of larger initiatives or moderately complex efforts by planning, designing, and implementing technical solutions and operational improvements, coordinating with other teams and, when applicable, supporting lower level technical professionals.
- Analyze current tools and processes, evaluate emerging technologies, and apply automation and optimization techniques to improve efficiency, reliability, and supportability for owned services.
- Provide technical guidance and informal coaching through design and code reviews, assistance with complex troubleshooting, and sharing best practices, patterns, and documentation.
- Translate technical and business requirements into practical implementation plans, recommending improvements to products, services, or operational practices.
- Collaborate with vendors, partners, and adjacent teams to support integration and solution design while ensuring alignment with operational and architectural expectations.
- Monitor and analyze operational metrics, logs, and observability data for owned services, using deep analysis to identify issues, propose remediation options, and drive continuous improvement.
- Serve as a technical point of contact for vendors and partners on assigned solutions or services, collaborating on design and integration decisions to ensure alignment with established expectations.
- May perform incident response for medium-to-high priority issues, including identification, triage, troubleshooting, and restoration, partnering cross-team to diagnose root causes and implement long-term fixes.
- Contribute to the design and maintenance of incident management, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures for the assigned domain, and may lead investigation and resolution for significant incidents within scope.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in technology operations.
- Advanced understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, security, compliance, and risk management.
- Proven track record in technology governance, strategic planning, and operational excellence.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience providing executive-level technology support to senior leadership, Executive Assistants, and other key stakeholders.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365, collaboration technologies, mobile platforms, endpoint management, and conferencing solutions.
- Experience supporting executive onboarding and offboarding, device lifecycle management, and executive event technology readiness.
- Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITIL) principles, including incident management, service delivery, and continuous improvement practices.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with a high level of professionalism and customer service.
- Strong relationship management, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to partner across technology and business teams.
- Relevant industry certifications, such as Microsoft 365 Certified, ITIL Foundation, CompTIA, or equivalent technical credentials.
