Job Description

In Madison, Wisconsin, a hybrid Help Desk role sits within Experis's IT Support Department, supporting the organization’s technical operations and frontline user needs. The position emphasizes precise IT hardware asset management, responsive service delivery, and collaborative problem solving, with compensation at $22 to $25 per hour and a requirement of at least three years of related experience. This role is informed by a strong focus on customer service and clear communication as part of daily operations.

Responsibilities

Maintain and manage IT hardware asset data across multiple systems, including DHS's IT Service Management System (Cherwell & Ivanti Neurons) and the DHS desktop management system (Ivanti).
Perform electronic and physical IT hardware asset audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Utilize spreadsheet software platforms such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or OpenOffice Calc for data tracking and reporting.
Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to end-users and team members.
Assist in creating and tracking IT hardware repairs and support cases to ensure timely resolution.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience managing IT hardware asset data in various systems.
Proven experience conducting electronic and physical hardware audits.
Proficiency with spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or OpenOffice Calc.
Strong customer service skills and effective communication abilities.
Current Wisconsin residency with on-site presence required three days per week; no relocation assistance provided.
