Job Description

Asurion Insurance Services is hiring for a part-time in-home field role combining customer support, tech problem solving, and sales during scheduled customer visits.

Responsibilities

Support customers during the busiest hours using the Serve, Solve, Sell™ approach
Deliver exceptional customer service for every interaction, keeping the customer first
Meet customers at their homes or in other scheduled locations
Troubleshoot and resolve customer tech issues, explaining solutions in a way that fits the customer’s comfort level with technology
Confirm customers leave with a working resolution and a product aligned to future tech needs
Use Asurion’s product lineup to recommend tailored options
Listen to identify needs and position products effectively
Apply strong communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to pivot and complete appropriate sales

Requirements

Comfort working in a sales environment with set targets
Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record and at least 1 year of driving experience
Ability to provide proof of valid car insurance (excluded: Manhattan)
Personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles)
Customer appointments are in neighborhoods and cities surrounding your inventory warehouse
Maximum expected travel distance of 120 miles one-way
Work a varied 5-day week schedule to meet customer timelines, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Personal cellphone for job communication
Comfort working around household pets
Efficient, adaptable, goal-oriented communication skills that support persuasive conversations
Open-minded approach with a strong interest in learning a wide range of skills across career paths
Outgoing style and enjoyment of human interaction
Hours may vary based on business needs and market demand

Pay rate & scheduling

$23.00 per hour
Mileage reimbursement (paid weekly)
Phone stipend (paid monthly)
Sales commission (paid bi-weekly)

Requirements
