In this onsite role in Fridley, MN, you will support employee technology needs with a strong focus on device deployment, Windows migrations, and ongoing endpoint support for end users across the organization.

You will work with standardized imaging and provisioning workflows, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure tickets are resolved and documented so other technicians can reproduce the fix. The role is customer-facing, requires strong communication, and involves hands-on work in an active manufacturing environment.

What you’ll do

Deploy desktop and laptop equipment, including imaging, configuration, delivery, and end-user setup
Support the day-to-day execution of a Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration, including device readiness assessment, upgrade scheduling, in-place upgrades, and post-upgrade support
Build, test, and deploy standard Windows 11 workstation images using Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot
Provision and enroll devices through Windows Autopilot, including hardware hash registration, deployment profile assignment, and Entra ID join
Manage workstation hardware lifecycle activities such as new hire setup, scheduled refreshes, decommissioning, and maintaining accurate asset records
Perform user data and profile migration, including OneDrive and Microsoft 365 configuration on newly deployed devices
Research, document, and package legacy and specialized business applications, including installation procedures, prerequisites, licensing, and configuration requirements
Create and maintain deployment runbooks, installation guides, and knowledge base articles for repeatable IT procedures
Provide on-site technical support for end-user hardware, software, and peripheral issues, and remote support for users at other regional locations
Troubleshoot and support Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems and workstation configurations
Support Microsoft 365 applications and services, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
Manage endpoint configuration, patching, and remote support sessions using NinjaOne RMM
Support shared and kiosk workstations used by production floor personnel
Support label printers, thermal printers, and handheld barcode scanners used in manufacturing operations
Support conference room audio/visual equipment and Microsoft Teams Rooms
Handle user account support tasks such as password resets, multi-factor authentication enrollment, and basic account administration in Active Directory and Entra ID
Respond to, document, and resolve tickets in SolarWinds Service Desk within established service levels
Document ticket resolutions with enough detail for other technicians to reproduce the fix, and escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior IT staff as appropriate
Follow established IT policies, procedures, and security best practices while maintaining professionalism and strong customer service
