Job Description

Kukui IT is seeking a part-time IT Support Engineer to perform on-site installation and support of Windows-based computers and networks in Honolulu County, Hawaii. This hands-on role focuses on resolving technical challenges, delivering end-user assistance, and maintaining systems, with a pathway to a salaried position and benefits and a pay rate of $20-$25 per hour.

Responsibilities

On-site installation and support of Microsoft-based computers and networks.
Researching and troubleshooting a range of technical issues.
On-site and off-site software updates and maintenance, including end-user assistance and training.

Occasional support for Tablets, iPhones and other smartphones.
System documentation to keep records current.

Requirements

Passion for technology and strong problem-solving abilities.
Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license.
Technical expertise in Windows 10, Windows 11, MS Office, PC networking, and hardware repair.
MCP or CompTIA certifications are a plus.
Previous customer service experience and professional demeanor with good communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of computers and networking equipment.
Must pass a general problem-solving and skills assessment test.
