Job Description

Cube Hub Inc is hiring an IT Support Technician to deliver onsite Tier 2 deskside support at the Commons location in Moline, IL, with additional coverage for remote Training & Demo sites. This contract role supports end-user technology needs while helping keep equipment, assets, and support documentation in good working order.

The position is focused on resolving ticketed issues using established processes, maintaining deployed systems, and supporting common end-user hardware and software problems. Shift is 1st Shift, with up to 25% travel across the U.S. to support Training & Demo locations as needed.

What you’ll do

Handle ServiceNow trouble tickets and follow KB procedures.
Image and deploy computers, including basic hardware and software troubleshooting.
Provide end-user printer support, including toner and pickup roller replacement.
Manage and update IT assets and inventory using Asset Center.
Maintain process logs, reports, contact lists, and customer records.
Troubleshoot using documented solutions, and escalate issues outside assigned scope.
Monitor equipment, supplies, inventory, and support routine maintenance activities.
Deliver basic IT and network support to end users.
Travel to remote Training & Demo locations as required.

Required qualifications

1+ year of IT experience is preferred; recent graduates can be considered.
Knowledge of computing and networking fundamentals.
Experience with desktop support and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet or intranet applications.
Basic understanding of computer security concepts and policies.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
An IT-related degree or equivalent experience.
Comfortable working onsite and able to travel up to 25%.
