In this onsite role, you will handle inbound automotive technical inquiries, troubleshoot product issues, escalate to internal teams as needed, and follow up to ensure timely resolution and a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Respond to technical product questions and issues received by email or phone, guiding customers toward effective solutions.
Collaborate with Engineering to determine the best resolutions for customers.
Assess and escalate inquiries that require additional review, coordinating with Sales, Shipping, and Engineering to reach a satisfactory outcome.
Maintain proactive communication with customers about pending issues and expected timelines for resolution.
Update customer and account information in internal systems as needed to keep records accurate.
Use the business operating system to provide stock status, order status, ETA, tracking numbers, and pricing information.
Participate in product training to stay informed about new releases and technical details.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of experience in technical support or a related automotive field.
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Superior customer focus and client-service mindset.
Advanced automotive knowledge and mechanical aptitude.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Clear, concise, and professional verbal and written communications.
Ability to build trust and maintain relationships with customers and teammates.
Strong data entry skills with a high standard for accuracy.
Strong critical thinking skills to promptly assess, escalate, and resolve issues as needed.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite and familiarity with business operating systems; solid computer literacy required.
