Responsibilities
- Handle technical support calls from internal and external service technicians, installers, customers, and sales staff
- Process parts orders, including part lookup, identification, and order entry
- Provide post-sales technical support and applications assistance via phone and email
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
- Log results of all calls in job service notes
- Supply information such as submittal drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation recommendations when requested
- Follow up on inquiries to ensure job completion and customer satisfaction
- Approve and process warranty orders as needed
- Complete special projects and training as directed by management
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of HVAC or electrical knowledge; commercial/industrial experience preferred
- Ability to thoroughly read electrical schematics
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask
- Professional verbal and written communication
- Proficiency with computers
