Job Description

CaptiveAire invites experienced HVAC professionals to join our in-office team in Saint George, UT. This HVAC Technical Support role provides technical assistance, parts processing, and post-sales support to technicians, installers, customers, and sales staff. The position offers a competitive compensation package with a base salary range of $65,000–$95,000 per year, negotiable by experience, plus a monthly bonus based on productivity and profits. Compensation

Responsibilities

  • Handle technical support calls from internal and external service technicians, installers, customers, and sales staff
  • Process parts orders, including part lookup, identification, and order entry
  • Provide post-sales technical support and applications assistance via phone and email
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
  • Log results of all calls in job service notes
  • Supply information such as submittal drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation recommendations when requested
  • Follow up on inquiries to ensure job completion and customer satisfaction
  • Approve and process warranty orders as needed
  • Complete special projects and training as directed by management

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of HVAC or electrical knowledge; commercial/industrial experience preferred
  • Ability to thoroughly read electrical schematics
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask
  • Professional verbal and written communication
  • Proficiency with computers
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • This is an in-office role, not remote
