Job Description

DoALL Sawing Products, a CM I brand with a legacy dating back to 1927, offers an onsite Technical Support Specialist role in Savage, MN. You will join a team that prioritizes practical problem solving, hands-on training, and dependable service for CM I customers and our Field Service Technicians. The position pays $25.00 to $30.00 per hour and requires a minimum of two years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Offer remote and phone-based technical support to customers and Field Service Technicians, guiding on assembly, troubleshooting, and repair steps.
Lead Technical Service School training on electrical systems, electronics basics, hydraulics, interpreting schematics and ladder diagrams, operation sequencing, machine line-up, and assembly.
Address part-number inquiries and help identify the correct parts and assemblies.
Assess pricing and stock availability for service parts and process orders as needed.
Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics to diagnose machine issues.
Source prints required to manufacture obsolete parts.
Assess customer needs and propose appropriate solutions.
Contribute to building and maintaining internal and external knowledge bases to aid diagnostics.
Perform on-site field repairs as needed, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions.
Contribute to establishing and refining Service Department workflows.
Maintain reliable attendance.

Requirements

Strong mechanical aptitude with solid knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
Experience troubleshooting electrical systems from 24 VDC to 480 VAC and hydraulic circuitry.
Experience with PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and servos is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams.
Basic machining skills, including sawing, drilling, and milling.
Strong customer service skills and professional communication.
Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and ongoing activities.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to travel domestically with limited international travel.
