Job Description

Heavy-Duty Parts Technical Support Specialist role onsite in Shiremanstown, PA, delivering direct technical installation support for Dayton Parts heavy-duty truck parts sourced from Dayton's and vendor catalogs.

Responsibilities

Assist customers in selecting the correct heavy-duty truck parts from Dayton's and vendor catalogs, detailing specifications, compatibility, and intended applications.
Respond to customer inquiries and provide clear solutions related to heavy-duty parts.
Log quality control issues in the tracking system and alert appropriate stakeholders of potential concerns.
Contribute to ongoing enhancements of the technical information library to support elevated service levels.
Expand business acumen through ongoing product training and staying current on new offerings for internal teams and customer-facing interactions.
Edit and refine product instructions to improve clarity and accuracy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve the overall customer experience.
Process and track orders for special order parts with careful attention to detail.
Perform additional duties as needed to support department effectiveness.

Requirements

Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook, to manage data and communicate effectively.
Strong ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints to provide technical guidance.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed. This is primarily an office-based administrative role, with occasional requirements for reaching, carrying, and active listening.
