Job Description

IT Support Engineer I based onsite in South Gate, CA, earning USD 25 - 41 per hour, delivering technical solutions and dependable support for computer hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software across a defined geographic area.

Responsibilities

Design, troubleshoot, and maintain network infrastructure, including data cabling and diverse software and hardware ecosystems.
Keep networking and computing systems available throughout production hours.
Collaborate with management and staff to provide analytical and technical support for ongoing IT solution improvements.
Lead local on-site technical projects and coordinate related activities.
Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and processes.
Diagnose root causes of operational issues and inefficiencies to drive improvements.
Lift up to 49 pounds and stand or walk for shifts up to 12 hours.
Support customers across multiple buildings in the area and remote locations.
Travel locally or regionally to provide on-site support.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience with Windows Server technologies including Active Directory, DFS, Print Services, and SCCM.
More than 2 years of troubleshooting in a multi-user, high-availability environment.
Over 2 years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and disposal experience.
Minimum 1 year delivering IT client, server, and network services.
Over 2 years of networking experience encompassing DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP.
More than 2 years of corporate environment support for Windows, macOS, or Linux operating systems.
Over 2 years of experience supporting and maintaining a corporate network environment.
High school diploma or equivalent.
