Job Description

FT Consultants is seeking a Technical Support professional to join the on-site team in Vancouver, Washington. The role focuses on diagnosing hardware and configuration issues for POS and card reader equipment, delivering multi-channel customer support, and coordinating with clients and vendors on installations and conversions.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and configuration issues affecting POS and card reader systems.
Assist clients in selecting and implementing POS and card reader equipment.
Support clients with the deployment and integration of POS and card reader solutions.
Provide ongoing troubleshooting and maintenance for installed POS hardware and software.
Deliver responsive technical support via email, text, and phone channels.
Configure, test, and ship credit card terminals to client sites.
Collaborate with vendors and clients on POS system installations and conversions.
Maintain thorough notes in the CRM system to document issues and resolutions.
Order equipment and accessories as needed to support deployments and service requests.
Contribute to the team's knowledge base and documentation platform.
Deliver exceptional customer service and manage client relationships professionally.

Requirements

Experience in POS or business technology systems consulting, tech support, and POS implementation.
Proficiency with Google Drive and Microsoft Suite.
Familiarity with CRMs or HelpDesk systems.
A strong desire to learn, grow, and perform at a high level each day.
Adaptability and agility to handle changing priorities.
