Job Description

This onsite, customer-facing role supports end users across multiple locations in the USA, with a focus on Level 1 desktop support, network troubleshooting, and Microsoft 365 and Outlook assistance.

Role Overview

Desktop Support Engineers (Level 1) will provide hands-on technical support for individuals and VIP users. The position includes PC and laptop installation and troubleshooting, basic server room and rack and stack support, and assistance with connectivity and printing issues. Work is delivered in person at the assigned location in Wytheville, VA.

Key Responsibilities

Provide Desktop Support Level 1 services to end users
Deliver face-to-face customer support, including VIP user support
Install and troubleshoot PCs and laptops
Manage Active Directory users and permissions
Install and support hardware and software
Work with ticketing tools and asset management systems
Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi issues
Support Microsoft 365 and Outlook environments
Troubleshoot network printers
Perform rack and stack activities and provide server room support
Deliver remote hands support and perform basic cabling activities

Required Qualifications

Experience in Desktop Support / End User Computing
Working knowledge of Active Directory
Support experience with Microsoft 365 and Outlook
Competence with hardware and software installation
Ability to troubleshoot LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi issues
Experience with network printer support
Experience using asset management tools and processes
Experience working with ticketing tools
Familiarity with rack and stack tasks
Experience providing remote hands support
Basic knowledge of cabling
Strong customer service skills
Fluent English

Compensation

Pay: $200.00 per day
Additional salary detail: USD 200 - 200 per hourly
