Overview

Lutron Electronics is seeking motivated students to join as Work-Study participants at our Las Vegas, NV Service Center. As part of the Technical Support team, you will provide technical assistance to a diverse customer base, helping retail end users and residential clients maximize the benefits of Lutron’s lighting and shading solutions.

Responsibilities

Act as a trusted advisor by guiding customers on product selection, compatibility, installation, and usage to deliver a seamless, end-to-end support experience.
Provide first-level technical support via phone or email, troubleshooting lighting control systems, smart devices, and network-connected solutions.
Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems using strong analytical and problem-solving skills, escalating more advanced issues when appropriate.
Build strong customer relationships through clear, confident communication, delivering calm and dependable support to installers, contractors, and end users.
Demonstrate passion for helping customers, stay flexible and adaptable to changing markets, think creatively to improve solutions, maintain a customer-focused approach, and act with integrity.

Requirements

Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree.
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Proven interpersonal and communication skills.
Self-motivated and driven to achieve results.

Work hours

On-site, team-oriented environment (5 days per week) with a typical 4-hour daily block from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Pacific Time, or flexible hours aligned with academic commitments with prior arrangement.
