Overview
Lutron Electronics is seeking motivated students to join as Work-Study participants at our Las Vegas, NV Service Center. As part of the Technical Support team, you will provide technical assistance to a diverse customer base, helping retail end users and residential clients maximize the benefits of Lutron’s lighting and shading solutions.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor by guiding customers on product selection, compatibility, installation, and usage to deliver a seamless, end-to-end support experience.
- Provide first-level technical support via phone or email, troubleshooting lighting control systems, smart devices, and network-connected solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems using strong analytical and problem-solving skills, escalating more advanced issues when appropriate.
- Build strong customer relationships through clear, confident communication, delivering calm and dependable support to installers, contractors, and end users.
- Demonstrate passion for helping customers, stay flexible and adaptable to changing markets, think creatively to improve solutions, maintain a customer-focused approach, and act with integrity.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proven interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve results.
Work hours
On-site, team-oriented environment (5 days per week) with a typical 4-hour daily block from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Pacific Time, or flexible hours aligned with academic commitments with prior arrangement.
