Job Description

This Desktop Support role within UHS Information Systems Operations focuses on keeping PC workstation environments stable through installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely support ticket/work order resolution. The position is based in Binghamton, NY and operates on a day shift with a standard full-time schedule.

Role Overview

Technical Support 1 is part of Desktop Support for UHS Hospitals (onsite). The role supports daily operations by installing and maintaining PC workstations, performing diagnostic reviews when issues arise, and helping ensure work order requests are resolved within an appropriate timeframe.

Work schedule: Day shift, 40 regular scheduled hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

Two years of college with Information Technologies coursework OR successful completion of a Technical program in a relevant field
OR 2 years of technical experience in a network environment
Certifications such as A+, CCNP, or MCSE are preferred but not required

Education

Two years of college with an Information Technologies focus, or successful completion of a Technical program in a relevant field.

Compensation

The hourly compensation range is $22.97 - $34.46, depending on experience.
