Join Asurion Insurance Services for a local, in-home field role in Kentwood, MI. This part-time position combines customer service, tech support, and field sales during evenings, with paid training and ongoing coaching to help you build confidence and practical, hands-on skills.
What you’ll do
As an In-Home Sales & Tech Support Field Sales Representative, you’ll work the busiest customer hours and use the Serve, Solve, Sell™ approach to guide customers from first interaction to the right solution.
- Meet customers in-home, in-office, or wherever they are (interactions are pre-scheduled so you can focus on meeting and surpassing sales targets).
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire interaction, prioritizing the customer first.
- Resolve tech issues using your expertise, offering understandable solutions regardless of customers’ technical experience.
- Help customers leave with a resolution that works and a product plan aligned with their future tech needs.
- Offer tailored product solutions using Asurion’s growing product range.
- Listen actively to identify needs and position products in a way that fits.
- Use negotiation and communication skills to make smooth pivots during conversations and move toward the appropriate sale.

Schedule and role details
- Local, in-home field role (not remote) with daily travel to customer residences.
- Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour + mileage reimbursement + phone stipend + sales commission.
- Part-Time Schedule: 5 evenings/week, 4:05pm to 9:00pm.
- Work hours may vary based on business needs and market demand, with a standard schedule provided.

What you bring
- Comfort working in a sales environment with set targets.
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record and at least 1 year driving experience.
- Ability to provide proof of valid car insurance (excluded: Manhattan).
- Personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles). Customer service appointments are in neighborhoods and cities surrounding your inventory warehouse, with a maximum expected travel distance of 120 miles one-way.
- Varied 5-day week schedule designed to meet customers on their timeline, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
