Job Description

Vlore Foods and POS is seeking a full-time Tech Support / Customer Support Representative for on-site work in Rapids City, IL. This role blends in-office and on-site technical and POS support for restaurants, with local travel for installations as needed. You will troubleshoot hardware and software, assist with POS setup and basic websites, and support sales and installation teams. Responsibilities

Provide friendly and professional technical support to restaurant customers via phone, email, chat, and remote desktop
Troubleshoot POS system issues including hardware, software, connectivity, and payments
Assist with POS setup, basic training, and configuration
Build, update, and maintain simple customer websites such as online ordering pages, menus, and basic e-commerce sites
Handle additional tech tasks such as domain management and digital tools for restaurants
Travel locally or regionally for on-site installations, troubleshooting, and customer support as needed
Document support tickets and ensure timely resolution of issues
Support the sales and installation team

Requirements

Solid knowledge of computers, technology, and troubleshooting
Experience or strong interest in web-related tasks such as websites, basic design, and online tools
Comfortable learning new systems quickly
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Willing and able to travel for installations and on-site support; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Some hours may be late in the evenings or on weekends
Reliable and flexible with scheduling
Previous tech support, help desk, web development, POS installation, or restaurant tech experience is a plus
