Job Description
The Industry Applications team at Baker Tilly builds data‑driven technology solutions for clients. We favor hands‑on solutioning by the builders, ship often, and grant outsized ownership over the products we create. Creativity and a commitment to excellence are central to our approach. Our primary focus is manufacturing clients, with additional engagements in complex insurance projects, forensics, and other data‑heavy work. Our solutions begin with the problems at hand, so tools vary by use case. Core stack centers on Anvil, with integration to other systems as needed. Examples include state‑machine driven applications for business processes, rules engines for compliance tracking, machine learning models for categorization using AWS SageMaker, PDF text extraction, mixed‑integer linear programming for supply chain optimization, and Monte Carlo forecasting techniques.
Capabilities
- State‑machine driven applications for business process management
- Rules engine development for compliance measurement and reporting
- Machine learning models for categorization developed with AWS SageMaker
- Text and keyword extraction from PDFs
- Mixed integer linear programming for supply chain optimization modeling
- Monte Carlo methods for probabilistic forecasting
