Job Description

This on-site Technical Support Representative role at Amico in Hauppauge, NY focuses on medical gas systems, delivering installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting support to ensure performance and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Provide technical assistance for the installation, upkeep, and troubleshooting of medical gas systems.
Collaborate with sales teams, project managers, and customers to evaluate requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Create system layouts, schematics, and technical specifications.
Ensure designs comply with NFPA 99, ASSE 6010, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Assist and oversee system installation and commissioning to verify performance and safety standards.
Deliver customer training and ongoing technical support regarding system operation and maintenance.
Maintain awareness of industry trends and advancements in medical gas technologies.

Requirements

Mechanical Engineering degree.
Electrical Engineering degree is preferred but not required, or other related technical field may be considered.
Hands-on experience with the design, installation, and maintenance of medical gas systems.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with electronics and PLC programming is preferred.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Must reside on Long Island, NY.
