Technical Support Representative

This on-site Technical Support Representative role at Amico in Hauppauge, NY focuses on medical gas systems, delivering installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting support to ensure performance and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance for the installation, upkeep, and troubleshooting of medical gas systems.
• Collaborate with sales teams, project managers, and customers to evaluate requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Create system layouts, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Ensure designs comply with NFPA 99, ASSE 6010, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
• Assist and oversee system installation and commissioning to verify performance and safety standards.
• Deliver customer training and ongoing technical support regarding system operation and maintenance.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends and advancements in medical gas technologies.

Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering degree.
• Electrical Engineering degree is preferred but not required, or other related technical field may be considered.
• Hands-on experience with the design, installation, and maintenance of medical gas systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with electronics and PLC programming is preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must reside on Long Island, NY.
