Job Description

Infosoft Tecksolutions is hiring an IT Support Specialist focused on mobile devices and applications, supporting end users across North America. This onsite role in Orlando, FL places you in the Power/Energy division, where you will troubleshoot mobile issues, support application configurations, and keep processes and documentation current.

You will work an 8 AM to 5 PM shift while partnering with users, vendors, and internal teams to handle day-to-day support needs and contribute to change-release support for IT system implementations.

Role overview

Support end users across the region by communicating IT changes and explaining their impact on the customer IT environment
Provide troubleshooting for mobile devices and mobile applications
Develop and maintain user guides and instructions for energy-specific application configuration and setup
Support customers with mobile device updates and upgrades

Collaboration and process documentation

Work with vendors on service contracts to help customers access the best available options
Record and document new processes and procedures within service scope, and update existing documentation so coworkers can understand and follow current workflows
Build a complete understanding of IT separation activities, timelines, technical issues, and solutions in a continuously changing environment
Support change-release processes for the implementation of IT systems

Stay organized and self-motivated, handling problems as they occur and taking appropriate steps to solve difficult or complex issues
Take direction and switch quickly between tasks
Seek guidance from the Management Team or others for non-routine or complex problem areas
Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, from Senior Management to Individual Contributor

Requirements

Education or training in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is required
Excellent communication skills (written and oral), including presentation skills, are required

Preferred experience

Experience with iOS platforms
Experience with MS Office 365 and related applications
Familiarity with Cyber Security concepts
