Responsibilities
- Care for and operate a distributed network of simulators and modeling tools to enable rehearsals and exercises for multiple units.
- Oversee network operations, sustain an Authority to Operate, enhance design and architecture, perform Tier 1-3 troubleshooting during operations, install hardware, manage lifecycle, deploy software releases, and introduce new features and innovations.
- Support training delivery to military personnel as part of a cross-functional technical team focused on robust operational instruction.
- Conduct regular operational checks on local air and ground simulators and several outstation systems.
- Execute preventative maintenance on simulators and related systems.
- Support training activities across live, virtual, and constructive environments.
- Develop configuration management workflows to keep geographically distributed systems up to date and compliant with current training requirements.
- Run the virtual environment to enable large-scale training exercises.
- Identify and document system deficiencies to drive improvements in functionality.
- Procure and install new simulators and expand networks as needed.
- Work within an Agile Scrum team with daily communications, delivering effective troubleshooting and adapting to changing daily tasks.
- Identify opportunities to advance simulation capabilities and introduce innovations.
Requirements
- Experience with complex distributed networked systems
- Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Experience supporting and collaborating with DoD operational personnel
- Ability to diagnose and resolve issues in basic networks and operating systems
- Ability to produce technical documentation
- Willingness to travel up to 20%
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelorโs degree and 1+ years of Tier 1 technical support experience, or 5+ years of Tier 1 technical support experience in lieu of a degree

Compensation
Salary is determined by factors including location, education, skills, experience, and contract considerations. The projected range for this position is USD 69,400 to 158,000 per year. This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
