Job Description

AVP Solutions is hiring onsite in Canoga Park, CA for a Tech Support Representative to join its merchant services support team. The role blends customer service with technical troubleshooting, handling a diverse mix of calls in a fast-paced environment. The position offers $25.00 per hour and requires 1-2 years of bankcard experience.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot issues and manage a range of calls and situations concurrently.
Learn the company's products and services quickly in a fast-paced setting.
Interpret and apply various instruction sets as required.

Requirements

1-2 years of bankcard experience.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.
Proficiency with Windows, word processing, spreadsheets, web-based applications, contact management software, and other processing systems.
Knowledge of point-of-sale hardware and software.
Ability to learn company products and services quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Pegasus database knowledge is a plus.
Aptitude to interpret and apply various instruction sets.
Strong time management and professional demeanor.
Ability to write and create reports and correspondence.
Ability to prepare written proposals including quotes and assessments of client needs.
Previous banking or financial services experience.
