Tech Support Representative

AVP Solutions is hiring onsite in Canoga Park, CA for a Tech Support Representative to join its merchant services support team. The role blends customer service with technical troubleshooting, handling a diverse mix of calls in a fast-paced environment. The position offers $25.00 per hour and requires 1-2 years of bankcard experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot issues and manage a range of calls and situations concurrently.
• Learn the company's products and services quickly in a fast-paced setting.
• Interpret and apply various instruction sets as required.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of bankcard experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Windows, word processing, spreadsheets, web-based applications, contact management software, and other processing systems.
• Knowledge of point-of-sale hardware and software.
• Ability to learn company products and services quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Pegasus database knowledge is a plus.
• Aptitude to interpret and apply various instruction sets.
• Strong time management and professional demeanor.
• Ability to write and create reports and correspondence.
• Ability to prepare written proposals including quotes and assessments of client needs.
• Previous banking or financial services experience.
