Job Description

Amazon.com Services LLC is hiring an IT Support Engineer II to support technology across sites within a defined geographical area in Cottage Grove, WI. In this onsite role, you will troubleshoot and resolve complex customer-impacting issues, help drive improvements, and support project execution during critical incidents.

The position focuses on delivering IT client, server, and network services while expanding your knowledge across AWS technologies, distributed systems concepts, and core engineering topics like data structures and software design patterns. Travel within your local or regional area is included to support customers across multiple buildings and remote customers.

What You’ll Do

Troubleshoot difficult IT issues without SOPs
Plan and coordinate CMs and CM templates
Collaborate with internal teams or vendors to execute projects
Lead continuous improvement efforts
Audit the quality of work performed and provide constructive feedback when needed
Automate manual tasks by creating or improving small tools that improve team efficiency
Serve as the first point of escalation
Participate in hiring, training, and development of others
Support customers from multiple buildings in the area, as well as remote customers
Travel within your local or regional area to support customers

Minimum Requirements

3+ years of IT client, server, and network service delivery experience
4+ years of IT systems or relevant commercial production environment experience
4+ years of networking experience, including DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP
4+ years of Microsoft administration, Linux administration, or Cisco IOS (CLI) experience
4+ years of troubleshooting experience in a multi-user high availability environment
4+ years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and liquidation experience
High school or equivalent diploma

Distributed systems concepts
Video conference and teleconference equipment
Windows server environment

Preferred Qualifications

Compensation and Location

Location: Cottage Grove, WI (onsite)
Salary range: USD 60,700 - 106,300 per year
USA, WI, Cottage Grove: 60,700.00 - 106,300.00 USD annually

Job Description

Johnson Health Tech North America seeks a Customer Technical Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical assistance for connected fitness devices and software. This onsite role in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin offers an hourly rate of USD 18 to 20 and requires at least one year of relevant experience, along with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, account access, firmware updates, and machine operation concerns to restore functionality.
Assist customers via phone and email with professionalism, accuracy, and empathy, ensuring clear and timely communication.
Handle order-related inquiries such as order status, shipping issues, returns, service provider visits, cancellations, warranty requests, and replacement needs.
Adhere to established diagnostic protocols, policies, and workflows to deliver consistent and efficient support.

Leverage internal knowledge bases to support troubleshooting, promotions, known issues, and software updates.

Contribute ideas to improve workflows, processes, and the overall customer experience.
Support department initiatives focused on process refinement and quality improvement.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Advanced degree or certificate is preferred.
1 to 2 years of experience in customer service, call center, or technical support is preferred.
Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, or connected devices is strongly preferred.
Experience with order management, logistics, or e-commerce processes is preferred.
Experience in the fitness or consumer technology industry is a plus.
