Location: Henrico, VA (onsite). Schedule: Sunday through Wednesday nights, 7:00 PM – 5:30 AM. Compensation: $65,000–$68,000 annually, plus a performance-based bonus.
Responsibilities
- Design and sustain on-site networks to maximize performance.
- Troubleshoot warehouse systems and analyze operational equipment and systems.
- Develop short- and long-term strategies to meet or exceed warehouse operations expectations.
- Assist with PowerShell scripting and automation tasks.
- Serve as the liaison between technical operations and production teams.
- Coordinate large-scale software deployments across multiple computers.
- Maintain security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
- Diagnose and resolve issues through systematic troubleshooting.
- Configure workstations with computers and essential peripherals (routers, printers, etc.).
- Inspect hardware components such as hard drives, mice, and keyboards to verify functionality.
- Install and configure software per specifications.
- Provide onboarding and guidance to users on new software and hardware.
- Document repairs, fixes, and maintenance schedules.
- Identify shortages and initiate orders for equipment as needed.
- Adhere to GMP and site-specific practices; report any noncompliance observed.
- Follow safety rules and assist with enforcement where appropriate.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience may substitute for a higher degree.
- Minimum 3 years in end-user support.
- At least 1 year in IT support.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows 10 and the Microsoft Server product line.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and VPN technologies.
- Experience with data backup, antivirus protection, and monitoring of network systems.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities with capacity to oversee technical operations.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective verbal, written, and presentation communication abilities.
- Solid understanding of computer systems, networks, and internet security principles.
- Willingness to participate in on-call support in a 24/7 environment.
