Job Description

Abacus Service Corporation is hiring an IT Support professional to provide reliable technical assistance to Support Center customers. This onsite role in Mason, OH focuses on helping customers with approved applications by diagnosing issues, resolving problems, and maintaining a courteous, consistent support experience.

In this position, you will support users through both phone and chat channels, and you will also work in person during defined department hours. Problem-solving will involve structured questioning techniques as well as remote diagnostic tools to identify and address customer needs efficiently.

Provide technical support to Support Center customers in a timely, consistent, and courteous manner for approved applications and supported systems.
Diagnose and resolve customer issues using both questioning techniques and remote diagnostics.

Work location: In person
Department hours: Monday to Friday 8am to midnight; Saturday 9am to 10pm; Sunday 10am to 10pm
Training shift selection: Agent shifts will select a shift in NH training, with start times ranging from 8A to 3:30P

Job Description

Responsibilities

IT Service Desk – provide first-level technical support through phone, email, remote application and in person.

Document the process
Escalate complex and/or high priority problems to the appropriate team members for resolutions.

Requirements

Experience in an IT Service Desk environment

Ability to work independently and with a team
Strong time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
Communicate effectively in English both written and verbally
Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, imaging PC’s, networks and network security concepts

Network configuration and troubleshooting (VLANs, trunks, firewall rules, DHCP, VPN)
Basic Windows Server administration
