Job Description

This part-time IT Help Desk Technician role supports on-site operations in Pembroke, MA, with occasional travel to job sites. The position centers on administering Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Microsoft Surface devices across office and field locations, with a potential pathway to full-time employment after a successful trial period.

Role Overview

A dependable, hands-on support specialist will assist with daily technology needs, working across office environments and visiting job sites as required to keep systems running smoothly and staff productive.

Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot, and service office printers and peripheral hardware
Administer and support Microsoft Office 365 for end users, including email, Teams, and licensing
Manage and maintain SharePoint sites, permissions, and document libraries
Provide general PC help desk support, covering hardware, software, connectivity, and user accounts
Support and maintain cloud-based software platforms used across the organization
Travel to job sites as needed to deliver on-site IT support and troubleshooting
Configure, deploy, and support Microsoft Surface devices for staff

Requirements

Experience with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
Familiarity with Microsoft Surface hardware setup and troubleshooting
Comfortable working with cloud-based tools and SaaS platforms
Strong communication skills and a patient, service-oriented approach
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local job sites as required
Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests simultaneously
