Job Description
This part-time IT Help Desk Technician role supports on-site operations in Pembroke, MA, with occasional travel to job sites. The position centers on administering Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Microsoft Surface devices across office and field locations, with a potential pathway to full-time employment after a successful trial period.
Role Overview
A dependable, hands-on support specialist will assist with daily technology needs, working across office environments and visiting job sites as required to keep systems running smoothly and staff productive.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and service office printers and peripheral hardware
- Administer and support Microsoft Office 365 for end users, including email, Teams, and licensing
- Manage and maintain SharePoint sites, permissions, and document libraries
- Provide general PC help desk support, covering hardware, software, connectivity, and user accounts
- Support and maintain cloud-based software platforms used across the organization
- Travel to job sites as needed to deliver on-site IT support and troubleshooting
- Configure, deploy, and support Microsoft Surface devices for staff
Requirements
- Experience with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
- Familiarity with Microsoft Surface hardware setup and troubleshooting
- Comfortable working with cloud-based tools and SaaS platforms
- Strong communication skills and a patient, service-oriented approach
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local job sites as required
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests simultaneously
