Job Description

This part-time IT Help Desk Technician role supports on-site operations in Pembroke, MA, with occasional travel to job sites. The position centers on administering Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Microsoft Surface devices across office and field locations, with a potential pathway to full-time employment after a successful trial period.

Role Overview

A dependable, hands-on support specialist will assist with daily technology needs, working across office environments and visiting job sites as required to keep systems running smoothly and staff productive.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and service office printers and peripheral hardware
  • Administer and support Microsoft Office 365 for end users, including email, Teams, and licensing
  • Manage and maintain SharePoint sites, permissions, and document libraries
  • Provide general PC help desk support, covering hardware, software, connectivity, and user accounts
  • Support and maintain cloud-based software platforms used across the organization
  • Travel to job sites as needed to deliver on-site IT support and troubleshooting
  • Configure, deploy, and support Microsoft Surface devices for staff

Requirements

  • Experience with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Surface hardware setup and troubleshooting
  • Comfortable working with cloud-based tools and SaaS platforms
  • Strong communication skills and a patient, service-oriented approach
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local job sites as required
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests simultaneously
