In Shreveport, LA, this part-time, in-home field role combines hands-on tech support with near-term sales opportunities. You’ll travel daily to residential customers, applying the Serve, Solve, Sell approach to address tech needs and propose tailored solutions, all while benefiting from paid training, ongoing coaching, and commissions.
Responsibilities
- Meet customers in-home, in-office, or wherever they are. Interactions are pre-scheduled to help you meet and exceed sales targets.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire interaction, always putting the customer first.
- Use your expertise to diagnose and resolve tech issues, delivering clear, user-friendly explanations regardless of the customer’s tech comfort level.
- Ensure customers leave with a workable solution and a product that supports future tech needs.
- Leverage Asurion’s growing product range to offer targeted solutions.
- Listen actively to identify customer needs and position products accordingly.
- Utilize strong negotiation and communication skills to pivot smoothly and secure the appropriate sale.
Requirements
- Comfortable working in a sales environment with set targets
- A valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record with at least 1 year of driving experience
- Ability to provide proof of valid car insurance (excluding Manhattan)
- A personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles). Appointments are in neighborhoods and cities around your inventory warehouse, with a maximum one-way travel distance of 120 miles
- A varied 5-day weekly schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays
- A personal cellphone for on-the-go communication
- Comfortable working around household pets
- Efficient, adaptable, goal-oriented, persuasive communication skills
- Open-minded with a passion for learning a wide range of skills applicable to diverse career paths
- Naturally outgoing and enjoys interacting with people

Pay Rate
USD 20.05 hourly plus mileage reimbursement, phone stipend, and sales commission
