In-Home Sales & Tech Support (Part Time)
Job Description
Part-time in-home field sales and tech support roles travel to customer residences in Shreveport, LA to deliver hands-on assistance and sales through the Serve, Solve, Sell™ method. The position includes paid training, a base hourly rate with mileage reimbursement, a phone stipend, and sales commissions.
Responsibilities
- Provide frontline support to customers using the Serve, Solve, Sell™ framework on every interaction.
- Begin with paid training to prepare for independent work in the field.
- In the field, consistently apply the Serve, Solve, Sell™ model by meeting customers in-home, in-office, or other locations; pre-scheduling helps you meet and exceed sales targets.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout each engagement, always prioritizing the customer.
- Utilize your expertise to diagnose and resolve tech issues and present clear solutions for varying levels of technical knowledge.
- Ensure customers leave with a working resolution and a product that addresses future tech needs.
- Leverage Asurion’s expanding product lineup to present tailored solutions.
- Listen actively to identify customer needs and position products accordingly.
- Apply strong negotiation and communication skills to pivot effectively and pursue the right sale.
Requirements
- Comfortable working in a sales environment with defined targets.
- Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record with at least 1 year of driving experience.
- Ability to provide proof of valid car insurance (Manhattan excluded).
- Personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles). Customer appointments occur in neighborhoods and cities surrounding the inventory warehouse; maximum one-way travel distance is 120 miles.
- Ability to work a varied five-day week schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet customers on their timeline.
- Personal cellphone to stay connected while on the job.
- Comfortable working around household pets.
- Efficient, adaptable, goal-oriented, and persuasive communication skills.
- Open-minded with a passion for learning a broad range of skills applicable to multiple career paths.
- Naturally outgoing and thrives in human interaction.
Benefits
- Base hourly rate of $20 per hour is guaranteed for all hours worked, with bi-weekly pay. Earned pay can be accessed early.
- Uncapped commissions based on sales performance, paid bi-weekly.
