Systems Engineering Field Tech Support Sr - E3

Lockheed Martin is hiring a Systems Engineering Field Tech Support Sr role to support MH-60S Air Vehicle operations in an onsite setting in Shelton, CT. In this position, you will serve as an MH-60S Air Vehicle Field Service Representative (FSR) focused on Organizational and Intermediate-level support for the US Navy, including airframe, powerplant, and electrical systems. The role also includes hands-on maintenance/operations support and coordination with Sikorsky Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) to help sustain operator readiness.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver on-the-job training for maintenance and operational techniques used to repair aircraft and equipment, including associated test equipment.
• Support work involving adjustment, calibration, trouble-shooting, bench check routine maintenance, and inspection methods.
• Provide guidance and instruction for the use of special tools and test equipment associated with maintenance activities.
• Assist in identifying where additional training may be needed and emphasize safety precautions in all activities.
• Demonstrate best-method installation practices for modifications and retrofit kits.
• Provide technical guidance to resolve difficult and unusual maintenance problems.
• Analyze maintenance program performance and provide recommendations that may improve operations.
• Act as a liaison to Sikorsky Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) to exchange maintenance information, including urgent maintenance difficulties and/or material requirements to support rapid response to operator readiness requirements.
• Submit weekly and monthly written summary reports to Sikorsky RMS management on technical activity experienced at customer locations.
• Own setup responsibilities for a new support office at the customer site and support relationship-building with new customers.
• Maintain awareness of local professional rules and customs tied to this international assignment.
• Review technical reports for accuracy, then submit them to program and management.
• Ensure site expenses are submitted on time, with accurate and complete documentation.
• Provide administrative training to assigned personnel and mentor team members.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 5 years of air vehicle experience maintaining Sikorsky MH-60S aircraft across airframe, powerplant, and electrical systems.
• Extensive mechanical and electrical knowledge maintaining Sikorsky MH-60S aircraft.
• Willingness to provide On Call support 24/7.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain a valid U.S. passport.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance.
• Willingness to travel to support customer requirements.
• US Citizenship is required.

Preferred / Desired Skills

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification
• Federal Communication Commission (FCC) certification
• Bachelor of Science in an engineering-related field
• Master Training Specialist certification
• US Military Quality/Production Control experience

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this position is USD 81,500 - 151,300 per year.
