Job Description

This is an entry-level IT Help Desk Technician role (temp-to-hire) based in Tualatin, Oregon, onsite at Kai USA Ltd. This position offers an immediate opening to support end users and assist with onboarding hardware in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Address Tier 1 help desk escalations via tickets or phone inquiries
Track and close outstanding requests to ensure timely resolution
Create user accounts and configure hardware as part of new-hire onboarding
Provide support for audio and video equipment in conference rooms
Monitor and maintain internal asset inventories for accuracy
Additional duties may be added or assigned as needed
Perform all other job duties as assigned

Requirements

Preferred: an associate degree or higher in Computer Information Systems
Preferred: CompTia A+ certification or at least one Microsoft MCP certification
Excellent written and verbal communication with strong presentation skills
High energy, motivated, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Experience with Windows desktop, Mac OS, and Office 365
Experience with Active Directory maintenance and Exchange
Knowledge of Mac and PC hardware, printers, scanners, peripherals, and mobile devices (iOS, Android)
Experience with client PC connectivity including Ethernet, TCP/IP, and VPN
File server knowledge and understanding of desktop security products
Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills
Two years or more of experience working in a Windows/Mac environment
