Technical Support Representative

HP is hiring a Technical Support Representative to deliver field-based technical assistance for HP LaserJet and DesignJet printers, as well as support for local accounts across Eastern Michigan. In this role, you will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while helping ensure customer satisfaction through clear communication and timely follow-up.

You will be based in Michigan and provide onsite coverage for customers in the Flint & Saginaw area, with 50% travel required to support accounts throughout the region.

What you’ll do

• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by clarifying customer needs and ensuring they are met.
• Handle customer-relation issues promptly and appropriately, escalating problems according to established procedures.
• Provide software service and post-sales or service delivery support for local accounts on standard systems.
• Answer service, product, technical, and customer-relations questions.

What you bring

• Minimum Vocational/Diploma/Associate Degree (technical field) equivalent with 3-5 years of related working experience, or a degree holder with no or less than 2 years relevant experience.
• Knowledge and experience supporting HP LaserJet, DesignJet, and PC products.
• Thorough knowledge of the organization and policies.
• Comprehensive business, technical, or functional knowledge, including basic project management skills, along with communication and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build and maintain ongoing relationships with customers, peers, and support partners.
• Ability to perform effectively under high-pressure situations.
• 50% travel required.

Location and schedule

• Location: Flint & Saginaw, MI region, supporting customers throughout Eastern Michigan.
• Schedule: Full time.
• Shift: No shift premium (United States of America).
