The on-site Desktop Support Technician role is based in Frankfort, KY, on a long-term contract with Brooksource. The position focuses on imaging Windows 11 workstations, delivering desktop support, and collaborating with IT professionals to support end-user computing needs.
Responsibilities
- Image and deploy Windows 11 workstations to configured endpoints.
- Provide desktop support and perform basic break/fix troubleshooting.
- Assist with hardware and software installations and configuration tasks.
- Conduct routine workstation maintenance and related support activities.
- Develop or modify introductory PowerShell scripts, when applicable.
- Collaborate with a team of IT professionals to meet end-user computing requirements.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in general computer and desktop support concepts.
- Experience with Windows operating systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to work on-site in Frankfort, KY.
