Desktop Support Technician

The on-site Desktop Support Technician role is based in Frankfort, KY, on a long-term contract with Brooksource. The position focuses on imaging Windows 11 workstations, delivering desktop support, and collaborating with IT professionals to support end-user computing needs.

Responsibilities

• Image and deploy Windows 11 workstations to configured endpoints.
• Provide desktop support and perform basic break/fix troubleshooting.
• Assist with hardware and software installations and configuration tasks.
• Conduct routine workstation maintenance and related support activities.
• Develop or modify introductory PowerShell scripts, when applicable.
• Collaborate with a team of IT professionals to meet end-user computing requirements.

Requirements

• Strong foundation in general computer and desktop support concepts.
• Experience with Windows operating systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to work on-site in Frankfort, KY.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
