Help Desk Technician

The Help Desk Technician provides on-site desktop support in a Windows environment, focusing on installation, troubleshooting, and repair of devices while delivering strong customer service and utilizing ServiceNow for ticket management. This role requires working at the client’s office in Frankfort, Kentucky.

Responsibilities center on hands-on setup, troubleshooting, and repair of Windows-based devices, with emphasis on dependable customer support and efficient ticket processing via ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site desktop support and resolve software issues to keep IT operations functioning smoothly.
• Provide courteous, responsive customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving technical problems promptly.
• Manage tickets and workflows using the ServiceNow platform to ensure efficient case handling.
• Apply hardware and software knowledge to support network configurations and maintain IT infrastructure.

Requirements

• Experience as a Desktop Support technician with proven ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues while delivering general desktop support.
• Strong familiarity with computer systems, including hardware setup and software installation and configuration.
• Basic networking troubleshooting capabilities.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience configuring, setting up, and installing computer equipment.
• Experience with ticketing software, preferably ServiceNow.
• Proficiency with hardware and software management.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.

Pay
