Job Description

Asurion Insurance Services offers paid, in-field training and a compensation package built to reward performance. This part-time role blends customer interactions with both sales and hands-on tech support, with a guaranteed base hourly rate, uncapped commissions, and added support for your time on the road through mileage reimbursement and a phone stipend. You will work onsite in North Charleston, SC and interact with customers in their homes or nearby locations, with appointments pre-scheduled by Asurion.

What You’ll Do

Meet customers at their homes, in-office, or wherever they are, with interactions pre-scheduled by Asurion.
Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the full interaction, keeping the customer first.
Use your expertise to resolve customers’ tech issues by providing clear, understandable solutions regardless of their tech background.
Help customers leave with a resolution that works and a product that supports their future tech needs.
Leverage Asurion’s growing range of products to recommend tailored options.
Listen actively to identify needs and present products in a way that fits the customer.
Use strong negotiation and communication skills to make a smooth pivot and complete the appropriate sale.
Consistently demonstrate the Serve, Solve, Sell model in the field.

Training and Support

3 weeks of paid training where your success is the top priority.
Training on all products, including how to deliver interactive sales opportunities that build communication skills, negotiation tactics, and problem solving.
Coaching, mentoring, and ongoing learning opportunities to help you stay on track and tech-savvy.

Pay and Schedule

$22.05 hourly + mileage reimbursement + phone stipend + sales commission. Earned pay is paid bi-weekly, with base hourly pay guaranteed for all hours worked and paid bi-weekly.

Part-time schedule: 5 evenings/week, hours 4:05pm to 9:00pm.

Mileage reimbursement: based on IRS guidelines, paid weekly.
Phone stipend: $35 paid monthly.
Commissions: uncapped, paid bi-weekly.

Requirements

Comfort working in a sales environment with set targets.
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record with at least 1 year driving experience.
Ability to provide proof of valid car insurance (excluded: Manhattan).
Personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles).
Appointments are located in neighborhoods and cities surrounding your inventory warehouse, with a maximum expected travel distance of 120 miles one-way.
Ability to work a varied 5-day week schedule designed to meet customers on their timeline, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Personal cellphone to keep you informed while on the job.
Comfort working around household pets.
Efficient, adaptable, goal-oriented, and persuasive communication skills.
Open-minded with a passion for learning a wide range of skills applicable to a variety of career paths.
Naturally outgoing and comfortable with human interaction.
Work hours may vary based on business needs and market demand; flexibility may be required.
