In-Home Sales & Tech Support
Job Description
Full-time in-home sales and tech support requiring daily travel to customer residences to serve, solve, and sell tech solutions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver on the front lines using the Serve, Solve, Sell approach to meet customer needs.
- Complete paid training before working independently in the field.
- Gain hands-on sales experience while learning products and sharpening communication, negotiation, and problem solving.
- Receive ongoing coaching and mentoring to grow confident and tech-savvy.
- Meet customers in their homes, at the office, or any location as needed.
- Asurion pre-schedules customer interactions to help you reach and exceed sales targets.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout each interaction, prioritizing the customer.
- Use expertise to address and resolve tech issues with solutions that are easy to understand for all skill levels.
- Ensure customers leave with a working resolution and a product that supports future tech needs.
- Leverage a growing range of products to tailor solutions for each customer.
- Listen actively to identify needs and position products to meet them.
- Apply strong negotiation and communication skills to pivot smoothly and close appropriate sales.
Requirements
- Comfortable working in a sales environment with defined targets.
- Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record with at least 1 year of driving experience.
- Ability to provide proof of valid car insurance (Manhattan excluded).
- Personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles); travel up to 120 miles one-way from the inventory warehouse.
- Five-day work week with a schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet customer timing.
- Personal cellphone required to stay connected on the job.
- Comfortable working around household pets.
- Efficient, adaptable, goal-oriented and persuasive communication skills.
- Open-minded with a passion for learning a broad set of skills applicable to multiple career paths.
- Naturally outgoing and comfortable with frequent human interaction.
- Flexibility may be required as hours vary based on business needs and market demand.
Benefits
- Base hourly rate of $20 per hour, guaranteed for all hours worked and paid bi-weekly; earned pay can be accessed early.
- Uncapped commissions based on sales performance, paid bi-weekly.
- Mileage reimbursement per IRS guidelines, paid weekly.
- $35 phone stipend paid monthly.
- 3 to 4 weeks of paid training prioritized for your success.
