Customer Service / Tech Support Rep

Job Description

Remote Customer Service and Tech Support role supporting inbound customers and troubleshooting technical issues for hardware, software, and client products.

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound customer support using a call flow guide
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across hardware, software, and client products
  • Track, document, and retrieve customer and case information in databases
  • Apply strong problem-solving to reach resolution
  • Recommend additional products and/or services when appropriate
  • Deliver expert customer experiences

Requirements

  • 3+ years of customer service experience
  • Technical support experience preferred
  • Strong focus on building customer relationships
  • Open availability
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Quiet, distraction-free home workspace
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with multi-tasking
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to ask probing questions to resolve issues
  • Strong computer navigation skills and PC knowledge
  • Desktop or laptop to complete PC and internet testing
  • High-speed internet (no wireless/hotspots or satellite) and a smartphone
  • Must reside in the United States and have a valid U.S. address for residence
  • Work computer may be provided depending on the position, but is not guaranteed (discussed with a recruiter)

Compensation

  • Base salary: USD 15 per hour
  • Pay rate will not be below the applicable minimum wage
