Technical Support Representative

CoreFlex Networks is seeking a Technical Support Representative in Louisville, KY 40205 to assist customers with service questions and everyday technical issues. The role focuses on resolving common problems through phone and support inquiries, while using troubleshooting guidance, documenting outcomes, and escalating more complex cases to specialists.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming customer calls and respond to support inquiries.
• Provide clear explanations of services, features, and account information in everyday language.
• Assist customers with common questions related to access, setup, and service use.
• Use troubleshooting guides to walk customers through each step.
• Document useful notes to ensure customers receive consistent support.
• Escalate more complex technical issues to the appropriate specialist.
• Follow up on open questions and keep customers informed of progress.

What You’ll Be Doing Day to Day

You will communicate with customers, ask targeted questions, and guide them through troubleshooting steps until the issue is resolved or properly escalated. Accurate recordkeeping and consistent documentation are central to the role, supporting smoother handoffs to technical teams when needed.

Training and Onboarding

Training covers service knowledge, common customer questions, support systems, and troubleshooting procedures, helping you understand the information customers need and how to apply it during real support interactions.

Required Qualifications

• Comfort communicating with different people while keeping conversations professional.
• Ability to listen carefully before responding.
• Skill in explaining processes clearly without making them sound complicated.
• Confidence using a computer, typing notes, and switching between systems.
• Patience when a customer needs additional explanation.
• Willingness to ask questions, accept feedback, and keep learning.
• Previous technical support experience is not required.

Compensation and Work Details

• Pay: USD 21 to 24 per hour (pay range also listed as $21–$24.55 per hour).
