Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day depot logistics, including material receipt, inventory control, and final shipment.
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, handling recognition, disciplinary actions, and performance development.
- Collaborate with sustainment engineers and suppliers to resolve technical issues and ensure mission success.
- Prioritize and allocate resources to meet retrofit, repair, and inspection schedules while minimizing bottlenecks.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures for all logistics processes.
- Use analytics tools to analyze operations, identify efficiencies, reduce waste, and optimize resource use.
- Manage contract compliance across diverse contract types, ensuring cost-effective delivery and adherence to terms.
- Provide status updates, highlight risks, and communicate corrective actions to senior leadership and customer stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated performance executing sustainment type contract requirements.
- Experience with contractor or organic depot operations.
- Proven ability to operate within a matrix structured business.
- Demonstrated track record of sustained high performance.
- Excellence in communicating with senior levels of management and customers.
- Problem-solving skills and Full Spectrum Leadership attributes.
- Ability to lead, coach, train, and manage LSE personnel while being responsible for LSE scope (technical, schedule, financial).
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance.
- Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills; able to work effectively in a diverse workforce.
- Strong computer skills including MS Office.
- Self-starter capable of performing tasks with minimal supervision.
