Role Summary

This position resolves customers’ technical billing issues by investigating system behavior, troubleshooting related infrastructure, and guiding clients with clear next steps. The candidate must have 2+ years of customer-facing experience, along with hands-on experience using CDN and DNS tooling, and supporting billing and registrar systems.

Key Responsibilities

Handle technical billing inquiries for customers via chat and email.
Research and resolve client billing issues using standard billing tools and payment platforms.
Provide customers with clear, actionable insights based on findings.

Required Education

High school diploma

Required Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
2+ years in customer-facing roles, preferably technical support or customer service with a focus on billing and registrar systems.
Experience investigating and resolving billing issues, including work with standard billing tools and payment platforms.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate findings clearly and practically to customers.
Technical troubleshooting capability.
Experience with modern operating systems, including macOS.
Basic understanding of how the Internet and registrar systems work, including terminology for CDN, DNS, and domain registration.
Proficiency using ticketing systems such as Salesforce Service Cloud or Zendesk.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills across organizational levels.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with standard billing tools and payment platforms; Stripe experience is preferred.
Familiarity with Atlassian Confluence.
Basic ability to use SQL queries.
Knowledge of financial and accounting terminology, including bad debt, collectible invoices, sales tax, credits, and refunds.
