IT Help Desk Technician

The IT Help Desk Technician role supports end users and helps maintain reliable workplace technology at NIC Global in Spokane, WA 99224 (onsite). The position focuses on resolving day-to-day technical issues, diagnosing user and system problems, and handling related setup and maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize user and system problems effectively, escalating issues to more experienced personnel and/or management when needed, and using established problem management resources and the helpdesk system.
• Provide timely end user support by following defined procedures, performing diagnoses, and coordinating resolution through discussion and troubleshooting.
• Train both new and existing users on changes to network procedures or software.
• Support system builds, including installation of hardware and software, network printing support, and maintenance of network users, user environments, and configuration bases.
• Apply a general understanding of ISO 27001 standards and relevant practices and principles as they relate to daily job responsibilities.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required by business needs, at any time and with or without notice.

Requirements

• High school level education or equivalent, plus specialized training that may be obtained through vocational courses or on-the-job experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency to successfully perform the duties described for the role.
• A+ Certified is preferred.
• Any technology specialist certifications, typically at the lower-level starting point certifications.

High school level education or equivalent.

Salary and Location

• Location: Spokane, WA 99224 (onsite)
• Compensation: USD 24 - 33 per hour
