Temporary Technical Support - Psychology

Vanderbilt University is seeking a temporary Technical Support (Psychology) team member for in-person work in Nashville, TN.

Responsibilities

• Run in-person experimental sessions, including participant recruitment, equipment setup, and administering questionnaires
• Design and pilot behavioral experiments
• Write, maintain, and support experiment scripts in Python used for study sessions
• Train and evaluate computational models using curated datasets
• Create analysis scripts to compare model representations and learning curves against human behavioral data
• Organize lab meetings and project check-ins, including agenda preparation
• Circulate meeting notes and action items
• Present study progress updates to the lab

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in cognitive science, neuroscience, or a related field
• Preferred experience with clinical study recruitment
• Preferred experience with REDCap
• Preferred experience with machine learning
